About our teachers

Our mission and focus each day is to enrich the lives of your child. We work hard to ensure that they are happy, confident and connected to their educators as well as the center environment. Being parents or guardians your presence is the one that has the greatest impact on their growth, so we are looking forward to working with you to help them achieve their full potential.

We recruit educators in accordance with legislative requirements, and take into account the qualifications, abilities as well as the personal qualities of each candidate to establish a positive environment and professional learning communities. We are an employer of equal opportunity and we value the varied languages and cultures of our teachers.

Our teachers have a strong commitment to preserving the latest practices and research and employ a variety of techniques and methods to aid children’s learning. They recognize that every child is able to become confident and proficient in their learning provided they are encouraged to discover and explore the world that surrounds them. The use of a variety of children-led and personalised teaching techniques are used to assist children.

We as educators are aware of the importance of living healthy by giving children the opportunity to try a variety of healthy food choices and be educated about the choices they can make in their food from both their educators and classmates.

The Y are dedicated to our teachers and are aware of their role in the learning process for the health and education sector. We make sure that the professional development opportunities we offer to our educators are in line with the current practice and provide continuous encouragement to develop further knowledge and skills.
