Fountain Gate Secondary College is an institution that offers Year 7-12 students a commitment to providing an excellent educational program to every student. We offer an intensive and extensive curriculum for students in Years 7-10 and offer over 100 different subjects to encourage individual responsibility, involvement and the ability to act. In the year 2019, our Endeavour program gives students the chance to explore real-world applications in a problem-based and project-based setting, which allows learners to develop into 21st century problem solvers. Students’ choices are constantly determined in the middle school years and allows students to pursue their interests as well as the possibility of starting the VCE program earlier. At VCE College, the College offers a broad array of VCE programs that cover Sciences and The Arts Humanities English and history, Mathematical, VET along with programs for the Rugby Sevens Sports Academy.
In Fountain Gate Secondary College, students’ voices play a crucial part. Students are given opportunities to build their leadership abilities through various initiatives and programs. The school captains manage spaces for students to meet for activities ranging from fundraising, forums, and Future Problem Solvers in which they have received international recognition. The college also caters to students’ various needs, both academic and personal. Particularly, Fountain Gate Secondary College provides the High Achiever’s Programthat encourages the achievement of students in their academics.
Our sub-schools as well as Gateway teachers oversee programs in which students set their own learning goals, review their learning habits and regularly meet with their teachers and parents. The programs also address students in their academic, social, and emotional needs, enabling learning for all learners.
