We are aware of the importance of early learning and that’s the reason Goodstart ensures that every minute counts for the children in our centers. We promote greater accessibility and participation and take it upon ourselves to do our best in improving our services.

For the past 11 years, Goodstart as a non-profit social enterprise, has created positive social change through giving our children, and especially those who are most vulnerable, the best start possible in their lives.

Goodstart was created by a consortium with four of Australia’s top organizations who recognized that a child’s early experiences have an enormous impact on their lives. The Benevolent Society, The Brotherhood of St Laurence, Mission Australia, and Social Ventures Australia.

In the present, Goodstart is Australia’s largest provider of early learning and education and also the biggest non-government provider of kindergarten and preschool programs. We have 15,639 employees, including 1500 teachers. We provide excellent early education to more than 67,670 kids from 56,800 families spread across 664 centres for early learning. About one-third of our centers are located in regions and rural areas, and around a quarter of them are in low socio-economic regions.

Since birth the children are eager to learn. At Goodstart we use the latest ideas regarding early education in order to create engaging, age-appropriate learning environments which provide children with a safe base from which to explore.

Yes, we provide lots of chances to play, play, and explore new things. We also adhere to strict guidelines for health and safety We keep our first aid certification current , and make sure our comprehensive guidelines and policies for child safety are always in place.
