Kalora Park Oval Fenced Dog Park

Kalora park has a fenced dog area. There is also a playground, an oval and netball courts. Soldier Settler Memorial Gardens is nearby. For the dog park, there is a parking lot along McKenzie Lane.

Two areas are marked with wire mesh fences of 45m x 30,m. Each area includes a gate with a bin, water container and a bin. The southern fenced area has been designated for small dogs while the northern fenced is for larger dogs. The northern area includes a water faucet with bowl, unshaded seats and tables as well pavilion for the Berwick Obedience Dog Club.

These areas were constructed by the Berwick Obedience Dog Club, and are open to all members and residents of Casey. These rules apply to off-leash areas

  • Do not enter when flag is displayed. Obedience or Agility are in progress.
  • Dog owners that use this area must take responsibility for their dogs’ injuries and damage.
  • Before entering the area, it is a good idea to speak with others already in the area.
  • You should only be there for five minutes if you have to wait.
  • Keep your dog clean.
  • Do not allow dogs to show aggression towards other dogs or people.
  • Maximum 8 dogs at once

The Berwick Obedience Dog Club‘s club hours are 11:30am – 4:30pm. There are grassy areas in the area where dogs can run. Troups Creek can be found on the southern end.
