Beaconsfield Primary School
Beaconsfield Primary School is located in Melbourne’s South Eastern suburbs. It maintains a strong sense community and close relationships among students, teachers and parents. We currently have 700 students in 30 grades.
Our children are our greatest asset. They thrive in our friendly, welcoming classrooms and as a group of learners. We take an individual approach to each child’s welfare, care, and support. This encourages their development. You will notice our children being engaged in learning and well-behaved when you enter our classrooms.
We are proud to be able to share our talent with teachers. To support the children’s learning, our teachers use the Learning Investigation model and tailor curriculum to meet their individual needs. Teachers care about the children and create a safe and secure environment. However, it is their ability develop a sense for direction, optimism, and excitement in each child that makes our classrooms so special.
Our beautiful facilities are a source of pride. Nine new classrooms, learning centers, meeting rooms, galleries, indoor basketball area, science/technology multi-purpose room and art room were built as part of a $4.5 million facility upgrade. Our buildings are just as exciting and innovative as our groundbreaking curriculum.
Education is more than buildings, curriculum, and traditions. It is about the fundamental teaching and learning relationship. Beaconsfield Primary School operates as a school in the community.
