Melbourne Tree Removal Guys has been working to protect Trees for many years. We work with governments, companies, communities and other stakeholders to promote certification for responsible tree management practices. When areas of rainforests are destroyed, it’s not just the trees that disappear.” It is Life that is at stake, Our Services are able to protect a tree without cutting it down, as we understand that there are ways and means to protect the tree and still be able to comply to the need of the customer.

Deforestation is the clearing, destroying, or otherwise removal of trees through deliberate, natural or accidental means. It can occur in any area densely populated by trees and other plant life. The loss of trees and other vegetation can cause climate change, desertification, soil erosion, fewer crops, flooding, increased greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, and a host of problems.

Deforestation occurs for a number of reasons, farming logging, for materials and development. It has been happening for thousands of years, arguably since man began converting from hunter/gatherer to agricultural based societies, and required larger, unobstructed tracks of land to accommodate cattle, crops, and housing. It was only after the onset of the modern era that it became an epidemic.
One of the most dangerous and unsettling effects of deforestation is the loss of animal and plant species due to their loss of habitat; not only do we lose those known to us, but also those unknown.

The trees of the rainforest that provide shelter for some species also provide the canopy that regulates the temperature, a necessity for many others. Its removal through deforestation would allow a more drastic temperature variation from day to night, much like a desert, which could prove fatal for current inhabitants.

In addition to the loss of habitat, the lack of trees also allows a greater amount of greenhouse gases to be released into the atmosphere. Presently, the tropical rainforests are responsible for Earth’s oxygen and they are disappearing at a rate. If these rates are not stopped and reversed, the consequences will become even more severe.

The trees also help control the level of water in the atmosphere by helping to regulate the water cycle. With fewer trees left, due to deforestation, there is less water in the air to be returned to the soil. In turn, this causes dryer soil and the inability to grow crops, an ironic twist when considered against the fact that deforestation comes from small-scale agriculture.

Further effects of deforestation include soil erosion and coastal flooding. In addition to their previously mentioned roles, trees also function to retain water and topsoil, which provides the rich nutrients to sustain additional tree life. Without them, the soil erodes and washes away, The barren land which is left behind in the wake of these unsustainable agricultural practices is then more susceptible to flooding, specifically in coastal regions.
As large amounts of forests are cleared away, allowing exposed earth to wither and die and the habitats of innumerable species to be destroyed, the inhabitants who depend on them to sustain their way of life are also irreparably damaged.

The loss of trees has an immediate and direct effect on our lifestyle that we in the modern world, despite our own dependency on what the trees provides, will never know. The level of immediacy is exponentially greater.

What can we do to prevent deforestation? Trees cover 31{6506c4dc6fbcd97c97a9530f167541a3f487246a8fa7c891ef47d7a678b8505a} of the land area on our planet. They help people thrive and survive by, for example, purifying water and air and providing people with jobs. We too have a company where we have employees who are related to the tree sector. Tress also play a critical role in mitigating climate change because they act as a carbon sink soaking up carbon dioxide that would otherwise be free in the atmosphere and contribute to ongoing changes in climate patterns.

Have you ever wondered what a world without trees would look like? Trees are a crucial factor for our existence because they serve an important role in the carbon cycle. And because of our ever-increasing population. People have proposed many solutions to this environmental issue called deforestation.

We will have polluted air without trees, humans would not be able survive because the air would be unsuitable for breathing. If anything, people would have to develop gas masks that filter the little oxygen that would be left in the air. Trees are a crucial part of the carbon cycle, a global process in which carbon dioxide constantly circulates through the atmosphere into organism and back again. Carbon is the second most valuable element to life, you know, after water. Anyway, trees take carbon from the atmosphere through photosynthesis in order to make energy. This carbon is then either transferred into oxygen and released into the air by respiration or is stored inside the trees until they decompose into the soil. Therefore, the absence of trees would result in significantly HIGHER amounts of carbon dioxide in the air and lower amounts of oxygen.
